Ballarat to the Barossa
Meet us in Ballarat, Victoria before travelling and exploring the amazing Great Ocean Road and arriving into the delectable Barossa Valley area. The event will start at Sovereign Hill - an open-air museum and historical park, situated in an early gold diggings area of Ballarat. The safari will travel over one of the world's most scenic roads that includes the world-famous Twelve Apostles, London Bridge, the Otways rainforest, Loch Ard Gorge and Bells Beach, on the Surf Coast. Experience relaxed holiday towns like Torquay, Lorne and Apollo Bay, visit the coastal cities of Geelong and Warrnambool, and the historic villages of Queenscliff, Port Campbell, Port Fairy and Portland. The Jacobs Creek Winery will be a fitting destination; here we will indulge in the finest wine and produce the Barossa Valley has to offer and enjoy the company of new found friends. For a wonderful weekend of fun filled entertainment at a very unique event, lock these dates into your diary 27 th – 30 th March, 2009. For only $195.00 per motorhome you will enjoy a welcome BBQ with a country atmosphere around the camp fire on Friday night, great happy hours and the company of fellow WRV Club members. Saturday is Race Carnival day where you will be amazed by the Mouse Races and the community spirit of this old-world tiny rural village with a current population of 20. A luxury Coach tour of the local area on Sunday with lunch at a local winery will set the weekend off. You need to book early for this great event!!
